During the month, 20 training programmes were conducted with a participation of 398, which included four Trainers’ Training Programmes for capacity building of PACS functionaries under the Reform Package for Cooperatives. One of these Trainers Training Programmes was for NABARD officers and the remaining three were for Master Trainers from the states of Punjab, Haryana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and MP. Customised Programme on Management of Change for officials of  Baroda Eastern Gramin Bank was conducted during the month. With this the total number of In-campus programmes conducted during the first three months of 2007-08 stood at 42 with a participation of 779.

We have been successful in getting a consultancy assignment from Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India for conducting an “Evaluation Study of Coverage of SC/ST Swarojgaris under SGSY”. We are working out the modalities for conduct of the study, which has to be carried out in 4 states viz., Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa and Chattisgarh within 135 days from the date award of the assignment.
