BIRD has functional collaboration with
a few national and international institutions of repute for
Training, Joint Curriculum development, Consultancy, Research
and Publications. The collaborations have helped the Institute
in networking and developing synergy in core competence areas.
It has positioned the Institute strategically to go in for
Consultancy and Research projects for third parties in India
and neighboring countries with donor/multilateral agency funding.

The initiatives of BIRD for
capacity building and client level innovations by Regional
Rural Banks (RRBs) in India is supported by the Swiss Agency
for Cooperation and Development (SDC) under a special project
- "NABARD-SDC Human and Institutional (HID) Partnership
for Rural Finance".
BIRD has conducted training programmes in collaboration with
APRACA-CENTRAB
WASME, CIRDAP, DSC, WEDS, Rahovat, Israel and MASHEV, Israel,
Planet finance etc.
