Training programs at BIRD cover the entire gamut of rural development banking. The programs are topical, issue-based and region specific. The training efforts of the Institute are enriched by insights gained from its field research and consultancy assignments. A variety of instructional methods are employed. These include formal lectures, experience sharing, case studies/exercises, games, role-play and simulation and laboratory settings etc. Modern audio-visual aids including computer aided instructions (CAI) and computer managed instructions (CMI) are also used when needed. The Institute conducts on-location training programs also for its clients based on client needs.
